COLLEGE COUNSELOR

Wade Peterson, College Counselor,  joined Breakthrough in 2010.  He works with 11th and 12th Grade Breakthrough Students on all aspects of the College Admissions Process.

Previously, he worked as Director of College Counseling at Oak Hill School (Eugene, OR) for six years, and as an Independent College Admissions Consultant. He also taught English and Social Studies (Grades 7-12) for eight years.

Wade is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas (B.A. Anthropology/ M.A.T Social Studies Education). He loves working with BTC students. In his spare time, he enjoys his six nieces and nephews, urban walks, and playing on a baseball team.
